EU Legal Warranty (2 Years)

All products sold by Hometta include a mandatory 2-year legal warranty as required by EU consumer protection laws. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and ensures your product functions as intended under normal use conditions.

What Is Covered

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. This includes:

What Is NOT Covered

Important: Proof of Purchase Required

To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase showing the date of purchase. Keep your original receipt, invoice, or order confirmation email.

Warranty Period

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and varies by product category:

Burden of Proof

According to EU consumer law:

  • First 6 months: We must prove the product was NOT defective at time of delivery. The burden of proof is on us.
  • After 6 months: You must demonstrate the defect existed at the time of purchase or was caused by a manufacturing defect.

If your product is defective during the warranty period, you have the right to:

Warranty vs. Return Period

Please note the difference between warranty and returns:

  • 14-Day Return Period: You can return products for any reason within 14 days of receipt (EU withdrawal right)
  • 2-Year Warranty: Covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions throughout the warranty period

The warranty period begins after the 14-day return period ends.
